Petersburg Redevelopment and Housing Authority will accept preliminary applications for the following affordable housing sites listed below:

Pecan Acres
Pin Oaks

Elderly and Disabled Apartments

Gillhaven Manor
Sycamore Towers
Washington Columns

Applications can be picked up at the administrative office located at 128 S. Sycamore Street in Petersburg, Virginia, or all site offices, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. thru 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday (with the exception of Gillhaven Manor). Applications for Gillhaven Manor can be picked up at 500 Farmer Street. Public housing is available to low-income families, the disabled and the elderly. Upon initial eligibility determination, your name will be placed on a waiting list according to bedroom size.

To determine whether or not you fall within the income guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), we will provide you with the income guidelines/family size, according to the city of Petersburg.
