The Board of Commissioners meetings are scheduled for every 4th Monday, 6:00 p.m. (unless otherwise posted). The meetings are held in the Conference Room located in Sycamore Towers, 128 S. Sycamore Street, Petersburg, Virginia. The public is invited to attend.

The PRHA is headed by a board of seven commissioners who are appointed by the Petersburg City Council. The commissioners are city residents and serve a four year term. The comissioners are responsible for determining policy and procedure for the Agency. The board of commissioners elects a chairman and vice chairman as well as an executive director. The executive director is responsible for the overall operations and performances of PRHA.
