PRHA's Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) is a federally subsidy housing program that assists low -income families, the elderly, and the disabled to afford decent, safe, and sanitary housing in the private market by supplementing their income to enable them to afford what they could not otherwise. Since housing assistance is provided on behalf of the family or individual, participants are able to find their own housing, including single-family homes, townhouses and apartments.

The Petersburg Redevelopment and Housing Authority provides 479 public housing units to low-income families. Our units are equipped with modern appliances, heat and central air.
